The Adventures of Christopher Mullins's Notre Dame Sweat Shirt

Like the Roaming Gnome before it, Chris Mullins' Sweatshirt is on an adventure and is perhaps having more fun than Chris himself.  Chris left the shirt behind at a GEFNFL game in 2002.  Although he has promised to return to the field to play and retrieve his beloved shirt, we have not seen him as yet, and we are well into the 2005 season.  Statman's wife has washed it a couple times and doesn't want to move it around anymore, so I do all my traveling with it.  Besides attending most of our GEFNFL games, Chris' sweatshirt could show up just about anywhere.

This picture above, is supposed to be a picture of our Official 2005 Bartender (Claudia) wearing Chris' Sweatshirt, but sadly she declined permission to to publish it on the web.

Chris' Sweatshirt made it to Lambeau  Field prior the the Oct 9, 2005 game with the New Orleans Saints.  

Now we had to actually get it down on the field.  This is the guy working security for the moving camera behind the Packer bench.  (He's actually my brother, Mark).  

By half time, with the Packer well in the lead, everyone wants to pose with the legendary sweatshirt, including this lady wearing a cheese top.  

No trip to Lambeau  Field is complete without a proper blessing from the Packer Pope, in the name of St. Vince.  Yes, this was the game that the Packer beat the Saints 52 to 3.   Clearly higher powers are at work here.
