Before Construction
We camped here for over five years, starting with tents, then an old popup camper, we finally out grew this hard shell camper when the three kids became adult sized.
Finally a foundation can be seen.
Time to take a deep breath and get to work...
Pouring the basement floor in the foundation.
I installed the electrical box & meter on the right. Wis. Public Service would not connect the underground electric service, unless it was within 10" of finished grade for 10 feet on either side of the meter. They also said if I wasn't ready this week, they wouldn't get to it for a month. So, I backfilled the foundation near the meter by hand using a shovel & wheel barrel. It took me the whole weekend to move the pile that was directly in the way.
