Nosey neighbor!
Sometime you can nearly walk right up to them. This one let me get close while talking on my cell phone. So I used the cell phone to take this picture.
Finally a we spotted one of the rumored bears.
Katie spotted this one as we were leaving by way of Meta Lake Road (about a mile from the cabin). It was hidden in the low area on on side of the road, but finally ran across the road, up the hill for this photo op.
No these aren't caves in Afghanistan.
They were dug into the sand on the east side of my driveway by coyotes. We have seen them and their pups several times, but have not been able to catch a picture of them yet.
Batman
I built a bat house and generally don't mind having these bug eaters around, but under my siding was just not in the cards.
Flying Trees!!!
Periodically the gravity gets screwed up
here and the trees will try to fly off
of the planet. I had to chain this one down before it could reach escape
velocity.
